This might not be specific to ubuntu but it's the system i am on(20.04LTS).

I am trying to move a 500GB worth storage to a windows machine for backup reasons.sending via SMB is extremely slow(2mb/s). I am guessing it has to do with encryption.

I don't care about security I just want to send files as fast as possible.

can 1 kindly suggest what route to go.

Mind I have no background knowledge in networking so kindly share links and context
