Writer Matthew Harrington

I recently purchased this product for my laptop. I couldn't find any supported linux drivers for it. So should I return it or is there a solution for this?

lsusb command outputs this:

Bus 002 Device 003: ID 1d5c:2000 disappers if I unplug the adapter.

PS: I don't have a CD-ROM drive in my laptop so I couldn't check CD contents that comes within.
