NPM Lockdown is here to check your dependencies! Never fear!
ERROR: I cannot read lockdown.json! run node_modules/.bin/lockdown-relock to generate!`

I never got it to work but I use npm shrinkwrap
and its working the only issue I had was that i had to delete all dependencies that did not match my package.json file and I found them using npm ls which will list the of packages install in your node modules
